The brand-new playground at Little Salisbury Park on 94th Street is finally open! 🏖️🎡 Though it arrived a bit later than expected, this awesome play space is ready for action. Ocean City's Recreation and Parks team has worked hard to make sure everything is safe and fun for all the little adventurers out there! 👧👦

🏰🌈 Say hello to the Aventus Tower, a colorful masterpiece replacing the old equipment! 🌊 With its light green and blue hues, it's like a mini seascape right in the park. This cool tower has it all - a thrilling 12-foot slide, an internal climbing wall, and even special swings where grown-ups and kiddos can swing face-to-face! 🤗 It's not just a playground, it's a world of imagination and joy!

💰🎈 Here's the best part - this amazing playground was a total bargain! 🛍️ The city snagged this $177,208 wonder for just $114,398! With all the extras included, the total cost came in under budget at $215,500. 🙌 And remember, Little Salisbury Park is just one of many fantastic playgrounds in Ocean City. From Northside Park to the Boardwalk, there's a perfect play spot for every young beachgoer! 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️

⛱️Let's take a fun trip back to 1885 when Ocean City's awesome Boardwalk first appeared! 🕰️🌅

Imagine 8 blocks of wooden planks lining the shore, where the stylish folks of the 1880s and 90s loved to stroll! 🚶‍♂️🎩👒🚶‍♀️ Guys in snazzy suits and ties, ladies in flowing dresses and big hats – such a fashionable scene! 🕴️👗

But folks had to be careful! 🌊 The beach was super narrow back then, and high tide wasn't shy about saying hello! Water would rush right up to the Boardwalk and even onto the streets – what a splashy surprise! 🎉💦

In 1892, George Conner made history by opening Ocean City's very first restaurant! 🍽️🎵 Hungry visitors from the train could grab a tasty bite and relax. 🚂🍔🥤
