The Key to Better aging: More NAD+

Most skincare works on the surface. Aramore goes where real aging begins: the basal layer of the skin, where new cells form. Backed by decades of research from Harvard and MIT scientists, Aramore is the first topical system designed to support skin’s NAD+ — the molecule your cells rely on for repair, energy, and resilience.

As NAD+ naturally declines with age, visible changes follow: dullness, uneven tone, fine lines, and loss of firmness. Aramore’s unique complex of NAD+ precursors, ketones, and fatty acids helps replenish cells at the source for skin that acts healthier and younger.

Clinically shown to improve tone, radiance, smoothness, and firmness as soon as 28 days.

Good Feels 🤗

 Lights, Camera, OC! 🎬

If you've ever watched the sun rise over the boardwalk and thought "this should be in a movie" — well, now's your chance to make it happen! 🌅 The Ocean City Film Festival is back with the 2026 OC Film Challenge, an annual filmmaking contest that invites creators of all levels to craft a short film in or about Ocean City for a shot at some seriously cool prizes. Produced by the nonprofit Art League of Ocean City, the challenge is all about celebrating our beloved beach town on film — and yes, the ocean, the boardwalk, and those iconic OC vibes absolutely count as your set. 🎥🦀

The timeline is tight but totally doable: registration opens June 1st and closes June 30th, all filming must wrap by July 26th, and final films are due July 27th. 🗓️ Your short film can't exceed 10 minutes, must include a designated line of dialogue (revealed after you register), and needs to feature at least one scene that visibly shows Ocean City as the setting. No vacation montages or music videos — this is real cinema, folks! Top three winners will score filmmaker passes to Season 11 of the OCFF, swag bags, and more, with 1st place also taking home a hotel stay for the 2027 festival. 🏆

The grand finale happens on Saturday, August 8th at the Art League of Ocean City — doors at 7pm, films rolling at 8pm — capped off with a live Q&A and the big awards announcement. 🎉 Spots are limited and registration is by application only, so if you've got a story to tell about this town, don't sleep on it. Head over to the OC Film Challenge page to register, and questions can go to [email protected]. Ocean City has always been a place worth talking about — now it's your turn to put it on screen. 🌊🎞️

OC Tidal Trivia

A Legend on the Shore 🌊

If you've spent any summers in Ocean City, you've benefited from the watchful eyes of the Ocean City Beach Patrol — and for over four decades, one of those eyes belonged to Lieutenant Edward "Ward" Kovacs. 🌞 Ward, who passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 64, joined the Beach Patrol back in 1983 and never really left. He climbed from lifeguard to crew chief to lieutenant, and in 2006 became the patrol's first-ever full-time, year-round employee — a fitting title for a man who treated Ocean City like a calling, not just a career. 🏖️ Along the way, he oversaw recruiting, training, the surfing beaches, Beach Patrol vehicles, and public outreach — basically, if it had to do with keeping this beach safe, Ward had a hand in it.

But ask anyone who knew him, and they won't lead with his résumé. 💛 Beach Patrol Captain Butch Arbin put it simply: "Everyone called him a nice guy. That was his personality. Gentle and caring and more pastoral. That was his gift, even more so than the gifts we hired him for." Ward was a Towson University grad who had studied theology at Concordia Seminary, volunteered with the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company dive team, and carried a pastor's heart right onto the beach stand. His faith never left him — it just showed up in the way he treated every rookie lifeguard, every visitor, and every colleague lucky enough to work beside him. 🙏

Ward's legacy is already being honored through the newly established Lt. Ward Kovacs Junior Beach Patrol Scholarship Fund — and if you'd like to contribute, you can read his full obituary and find donation details here. 💙 Checks can be made payable to the OCDC (note "Kovacs") and mailed to OCBP HQ at 109 Talbot St., Ocean City, MD 21842. He signed off his life the way he lived it — with a reminder that still feels like him: "Keep your Feet in the Sand until the Lifeguard's in the Stand." 🌅 Rest easy, Ward. The shore is a little quieter without you.
