🌟 Since 1974, the Women's Club of Ocean Pines has been rocking our community, raising big bucks for scholarships and giving local ladies a chance to shine! 👯‍♀️💃 Now, as they celebrate their golden anniversary, there are over 100 members and still going strong! 🎉🥳

From humble beginnings as card-playing, sewing, chatty gals to community superheroes, these amazing women have come a long way! 🃏🧵💬 They've done it all - from publishing directories to building pavilions, and even conquering Zoom meetings during the pandemic! 💪📚🏗️ Talk about girl power!

Today, the Women's Club is all about helping high school seniors reach for the stars with scholarships! 🎓✨ And they know how to have fun while doing it - think game nights, fashion shows, and bake sales galore! 🎲👗🧁 Don't miss their 50th Anniversary "Cash for Winners" raffle - it's gonna be epic! 🎰🏆 Here's to 50 fabulous years and many more to come! 🥂🎈

Ahoy, mini-golf aficionados! Ready to take a swing through Ocean City's putt-putt past and present? Let's tee off on this nostalgic journey! 🕰️🌊

Back in the early 1930’s, OC was a mini-golf mecca! 🌟 Old Pro's Sports Course was on the Pier, where you could putt alongside Baltimore Colts legend Johnny Unitas? 🏈 At Bamboo Golf on 3rd and Philly, they had the pink elephant 🐘 and white rabbit 🐰. And there was the Gold Rush Territory on 125th with its rootin' tootin' western theme! 🤠 For the cool cats, Ice Land Golf on Somerset St. had you chillin' with polar bears and an igloo! ❄️🐻 And let's pour one out for the departed Lost Galaxy Golf on 34th St, where one-eyed aliens 👽 and flying saucers 🛸 watched your every shot!

The golf fun and tradition continues today! 😎 Ocean City's still got more holes than a block of Swiss cheese! 🧀 Today, Coastal Highway is a mini-golf wonderland! 🎉 Old Pro Golf alone boasts six fantastical courses. And there are another 6 throughout the island. Imagine sinking a putt while a dragon 🐉 breathes down your neck, or lining up a shot on a pirate ship ☠️?! With wild animals 🦁 and dinosaurs 🦖 joining the fun, it's like a safari and Jurassic Park rolled into 18 holes!
